Disclaimer: Nothing belongs to me.

Apparently, when she was in med school, Izzie never got the e-mail on how to have a secret relationship. She's never really learned how to compartmentalize, she's always just left her emotions on the outside and so far, it seems to have worked. However, it's rapidly starting to become a problem, because Addison (Addison!) is kissing her, and sort of playing with the hairs on the back of her neck, and seriously. Seriously. These are the kind of kisses people write songs about, that they'll pass onto their children and sing as Odyssey-like epics. Or maybe just the kind she'd gloat over after a few drinks and a little prompting.

So clearly, this is going to turn into an issue, because Izzie never saw the handbook about how to not look like she just had a crazy, toe-curling orgasm. Not that she's had one yet, but they have half an hour before they're supposed to be in surgery, and none of her other patients seem like they're about to go into multisystem organ failure, and preliminary data on the subject looks good. Really, really good. Izzie can feel Addison's tongue flicking against her teeth, and every time she twists her upper lip just so, Izzie feels sparks shimmying straight to her clit.

People have sex in this hospital all the time. Izzie has sex in this hospital all the time. But she almost never has sex with girls, and she never has sex with Addison, and now that she's on the verge of doing so she has no idea how she's going to deal with this. Meredith and Cristina have had sex with people. Hospital people, in the hospital, who they clearly like, and they've gone back to work like it was nothing. So really, Izzie thinks, there must have been an e-mail or a textbook or something, and she overslept the day they were handing them out. Because even now, kissing Addison, she can't stop smiling. And it's good, it's fun, it makes Addison smile a little, and it's contagious enough that they can't stop. They're giggling at each other while Addison's magical, magical hands find the clasp on Izzie's bra, and her mouth finds Izzie's throat.

But it's probably in her best interest to get a remedial copy of the literature she's missed, because there are definitely going to be consequences. Addison is, after all, That Whore that cheated on McDreamy. And technically, that probably makes Izzie the Slutty Mistress who's seducing That Whore into cheating on McDreamy again. But it's not, really. As it's happening, it's not about Meredith's constant relationship drama or the other people in their lives who'll probably pitch a fit once they find out what they're doing. It's just Izzie and Addison, kissing because it seemed like the thing to do. Besides, Addison totally seduced Izzie, not the other way around, so it's not like she really fits into the skanky mistress category. It's not her fault Addison's gorgeous, and an amazing surgeon, and nice to her whenever they work together on a patient.

But anyway, the point is, she's sitting in the on-call room with her hands up Addison's shirt. And they have to be in surgery in ten minutes. And Izzie can't stop smiling.
